You can also add our new stable PPA so you can easily install Vocal and get updates via Software Updater when they become available. Just paste the following command into the terminal:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:nathandyer/vocal-stable &&
sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-get install vocal

You will also need to install the Granite framework:

If you like to live on the wild side, use our daily PPA for more frequent, but less stable builds of Vocal. Simply copy and paste the following command into terminal (elementary OS Freya or similar systems):

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:nathandyer/vocal-daily &&

sudo apt-get install vocal
